BlushedByKay offers bridal makeup and hairstyling services across Leicester. To enquire and begin the booking process, please get in touch via the website or Whatsapp with the following details:
• Full name
• Wedding date
• Time you need to be ready by
• Location with postcode
We aim to respond to all enquiries as soon as possible. Bookings are confirmed based on availability for your chosen date and time. Once availability is confirmed, a deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. All communication is handled via email or text message to ensure clarity and avoid any misunderstandings.
What Happens Next?
Once your booking is confirmed, a booking agreement will be shared for review and signature. You’ll then receive a confirmation message with all the agreed details. You’re welcome to reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss anything further ahead of your wedding day.
Closer to your date, a follow-up message will be sent to reconfirm timings, location, and final arrangements. Adequate time is scheduled to ensure your bridal makeup and hairstyling experience feels calm, organised, and unhurried.
WHAT HAPPENS ON THE BIG DAY?
On the day of your wedding, I will arrive in line with the agreed schedule to begin preparations. Each booking allows sufficient time for bridal makeup, hairstyling, and final finishing touches, ensuring the experience feels relaxed and unhurried.
To help the getting-ready process run smoothly, brides are kindly asked to arrange the following:
• A clear table or surface for makeup and hair setup
• A comfortable room with good natural lighting, ideally near a window
• A private space where only the bride will be getting ready
These arrangements help create a calm environment and allow the morning to flow with ease.
WHAT SHOULD THE BRIDE DO BEFOREHAND?
To ensure everything runs smoothly on the day, brides are kindly requested to have the following prepared:
• Hair washed and fully dried prior to the appointment
• The outfit to be worn ready, especially the top or blouse
• Jewellery and all accessories sorted and easily accessible
• Veil or dupatta steamed in advance, where applicable
• Skin cleansed and moisturised, with no makeup remaining
Brides are also encouraged to have a nourishing meal beforehand to maintain energy and enjoy a relaxed start to the day.
During Your Appointment
Before beginning, we’ll take time to discuss your desired look and preferences in detail. Inspiration images are welcome and help guide the overall style, ensuring the final look reflects your vision.
For hairstyling, we’ll discuss options such as hair up or down, texture, and overall finish, taking into account your face shape, outfit, and event. Suggestions may be offered where helpful, with the final choice always guided by your comfort and preference.
Products, Skin Considerations & Allergies
Professional, high-quality makeup products are used to achieve a refined and long-lasting finish. Clients are kindly asked to inform of any known skin sensitivities or ingredient allergies in advance so suitability can be confirmed.
As product formulas vary, skin reactions cannot always be predicted. For this reason, refunds are not available for reactions related to product ingredients.
Refunds & Policies
All deposits are non-refundable unless BlushedByKay is unable to attend your booking. Appointments may only be rescheduled subject to availability. If the new date or time is unavailable, the deposit will be forfeited.
Refunds are not provided once services have been delivered. During the appointment, clients are encouraged to communicate openly and request adjustments until they feel fully satisfied. Every effort is made to ensure you are happy with your final look before the service is completed.
