These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, enquiries, and services provided by Blushed By Kay, based in Leicester, United Kingdom. By making an enquiry, booking a service, or proceeding with payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Bookings & Availability
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once a booking deposit has been received. Until a deposit is paid, dates remain open and may be offered to other clients.
Blushed By Kay reserves the right to refuse or decline any booking at its discretion.
Booking Deposit & Payments
A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance must be paid by the agreed date prior to your event.
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the agreed deadline may result in the booking being cancelled, with the deposit forfeited.
Cancellations & Changes
Booking deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
If you choose to cancel your booking, any payments made beyond the deposit may be subject to charges depending on the notice period provided.
If Blushed By Kay is unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances beyond reasonable control, all payments made will be refunded in full. Where possible, assistance may be provided to help source an alternative artist, though this cannot be guaranteed.
Trials
Trials are available for selected services and are recommended, particularly for bridal bookings. Trials are charged separately unless stated otherwise.
Trials are intended to finalise the agreed look. Significant changes requested after the trial may not be guaranteed on the event day.
Travel & Location
Blushed By Kay is based in Leicester, UK. Travel may be available depending on location and the service booked. Travel fees, where applicable, will be discussed and agreed in advance.
Services are provided at an agreed location. Clients are responsible for ensuring a suitable working environment, including adequate lighting, seating, and access to power where required.
Timings & Delays
Clients are responsible for providing accurate timings and ensuring all individuals are ready at the agreed times. Delays caused by late arrivals or changes on the day may affect the final result and cannot be the responsibility of Blushed By Kay.
Health, Skin & Allergies
Clients must inform Blushed By Kay of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or skin concerns prior to the appointment. Blushed By Kay cannot be held responsible for any reactions where relevant information has not been disclosed in advance.
Hygiene & Professional Standards
All tools and products are cleaned and sanitised to a professional standard. Only high-quality, professional-grade products are used.
Specific product requests may be accommodated where possible, however availability cannot be guaranteed.
Results & Expectations
Makeup results may vary depending on skin type, condition, environment, and personal preferences. While every effort is made to achieve the desired look, exact outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Photography & Social Media
Blushed By Kay may photograph or record work for portfolio, website, or social media purposes. If you do not wish for images to be shared, this must be communicated in writing prior to your appointment.
Liability
Blushed By Kay shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury except where caused by proven negligence. Liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
Changes to Terms
Blushed By Kay reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply.
